Three years ago you guys were the big bad sophomores, I still can’t believe that now it’s your turn to be freshmen. I always felt like I belonged in your class, not mine. I can’t really put my finger on it but it’s somewhere between the maturity you guys display most of the time and the ability to still behave like the kids we are. It is you guys that have influenced my life the most, teaching me how to enjoy a summer’s night playing fugitive, a springs afternoon playing ultimate frisbee, and most of all teaching me how to love the things I do.
I’m at a loss of words of how amazing the past three years have been with you guys, and I’m going to miss each and every one of the seniors that I knew. I hope you all enjoyed your four years at Lynbrook and that I have influenced your lives a fraction of the amount you have influenced mine. I just want to thank you all for being the class I was always jealous of for being so honest, so carefree, so down to earth. I wish you all the best of luck in college and for the rest of your lives. Thank you for making my three years at Lynbrook High School the most memorable of my life.

that was beautiful, minus the “an fraction” grammar part
